Boys roundup: Tre Harley leads Centennial past Faith Lutheran

Tre Harley won three individual events and ran on the winning 1,600-meter relay team Wednesday to help the Centennial boys track team to an 87-59 win at Faith Lutheran.

Harley won the 100 in 11.03, seconds the 200 in 21.99 and the 400 in 49.0.

Centennial’s Devin Jackson won the 300 hurdles in 41.77 and was second in the 110 hurdles, and teammate Zaylon Thomas cleared 6 feet, 2 inches to win the high jump, ran on the winning 1,600 relay team and was second in the 400.

Faith Lutheran’s Jack Gordon cleared 13-6 to win the pole vault and was third in the long jump.

Moapa Valley wins five-team meet

At Del Sol, Jerrick Stastny won two individual events and ran on the winning 3,200 relay team to lead Moapa Valley to victory in a five-team meet.

Stastny won the 1,600 in 5:09.89 and the 3,200 in 11:48.73 to help the Pirates finish with 119 points. Virgin Valley was second with 88, followed by Del Sol (80), Lake Mead (48) and Laughlin (33).

Virgin Valley’s Ty Bryant won the 300 hurdles (44.64) and was second in the 110 hurdles and the triple jump.

Del Sol’s Precieux Moundzieho won the 110 hurdles in 16.46 and was second in the 300 hurdles, and teammate Barry Williams won the 100 in 11.42 and was second in the 200.

Arbor View wins four-team meet

At Arbor View, Blake Dickinson won the 1,600 in 4:26.53 and the 3,200 in 9:13.37 to lead the Aggies to victory in a four-team meet.

Arbor View scored 111 points. Spring Mountain was second with 63, followed by Shadow Ridge with 60 and Somerset-Losee with 28.

Shadow Ridge’s Tyler Robison won the 110 hurdles (17.04) and the pole vault (12-0), and teammate Kantriaun Singleton won the discus (119-8) and shot put (40-10).

Spring Mountain’s Ra’vaun Nibblet won the triple jump (39-1½) and high jump (5-10).

Somerset-Losee’s Taje Woody won the long jump (19-6½) and was second in the triple jump.

Palo Verde tops Legacy, Cimarron

At Legacy, Ben Slighting won the 1,600 in 4:19.5 and the 3,200 in 9:02.1 to lead Palo Verde to victory over Legacy and Cimarron-Memorial.

Palo Verde finished with 68 points. Legacy had 46½, and Cimarron finished with 42½.

Legacy’s Aubrey Washington won the 110 hurdles in 16.0 and was second in the 300.

Cimarron’s Adrian Alonso won the discus (115-10) and shot put (45-9), and teammate Jovany Lara was first in the long jump (19-4) and triple jump (40-1).
