GOLF: Dickey, Aggies win Northwest League match

Sam Dickey shot an even-par 72 at Canyon Gate on Monday to help Arbor View’s boys golf team to victory in a Northwest League match.

Hazen Newman added a 74, and Cameron Gambini shot 76 for the Aggies, who had a team score of 381. Centennial took second at 407, two strokes better than Desert Oasis.

Centennial’s Jacob Sherwood and Desert Oasis’ Syouta Wakisaka also shot 76.

Panthers win Southwest League match

At Painted Desert, Jack Trent shot a 1-under 71, and teammate Cameron Berzekoff added a 72 to lead Palo Verde to victory in a Southwest League match.

The Panthers had a team score of 370. Bishop Gorman shot 386, and Shadow Ridge was third at 443.

Palo Verde also got a 74 from Cameron Meeks.

Gorman’s Christian James shot 73, and teammate Owen Rosenbeck shot 75.

Eagles win Sunrise League match

At Desert Pines, Kyler Atkinson carded a 2-over 73 to help Boulder City to victory in a Sunrise League match.

The Eagles had a team score of 410. Needles took second with a 437, followed by Virgin Valley at 459 and Moapa Valley at 473.

Virgin Valley’s Hogan Fowles shot 76.

Needles’ Gavin Pletcher shot 79.

Crusaders claim Sunset League match

At Siena, J.R. Tuls shot 2-over 74 to lead Faith Lutheran to victory in a Sunset League match.

The Crusaders shot 402 as a team. Pahrump Valley was second at 441, followed by Sierra Vista at 469.

Charlie Magruder added a 78, and Trenton May shot 79 for Faith Lutheran.

Pahrump’s Derek Moore also shot 79.
