BOYS SOCCER: Killian’s late goal lifts Cougars over Rams

Nick Killian's goal with three minutes left in the match Monday helped Coronado's boys soccer team to a 3-2 win over visiting Rancho.

John Lynam and Preston Judd also scored for the Cougars, who overcame a 1-0 halftime deficit.

Kevin Rodriguez-Clavel and Jorge Alejo scored for the Rams.

Green Valley 3, Eldorado 2 — At Eldorado, Antonio Trama scored the go-ahead goal midway through the second half to help the Gators top the Sundevils.

Trama assited on first-half goals by Ricardo Nunez and Alex Gibson as Green Valley took a 2-0 halftime lead.

Eddie Mercado had a goal and an assist, and Bryant Juarez also scored early in the second half for Eldorado.

Palo Verde 2, Legacy 2 — At Legacy, Presten Manthey and Jayden Hoogland each scored once to help the Panthers tie the Longhorns.

Kevin Guardado and Daniel Quinones scored for Legacy.

Shadow Ridge 3, Bishop Gorman 3 — At Gorman, Jack Guynn scored with five minutes remaining to allow the visiting Mustangs to tie the Gaels.

Chase Castro added a goal and two assists, and Guillermo Nava also scored for Shadow Ridge.

Javier Arellano, Slade Weber and Brandon Malek each scored a goal for Gorman. Cobi DeLeon had two assists for the Gaels, who took a 3-2 lead with six minutes left.

Del Sol 3, Tech 1 — At Del Sol, Sergio Calderon scored twice as the Dragons downed the Roadrunners.

Diego Nieves added a goal and two assists for Del Sol.

Francisco Garcia scored for Tech.

Desert Pines 5, Moapa Valley 0 — At Desert Pines, Oswaldo Medina scored three goals to lead the Jaguars past the Pirates.

Joel Sanchez and Marco Vivero each added a goal, and Geo Hernandez made two saves en route to the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 6, Virgin Valley 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Musio Jiminez-Vazquez scored two goals to lead the Miners past the Bulldogs.

Jose Arrreola had a goal and an assist, and Luis Falcon, Ivan Enciso and Julian Herrera also scored for Sunrise Mountain.

Cesar Venegas had two saves to get the shutout.

Chaparral 9, Boulder City 3 — At Chaparral, Aldo Skewes had a goal and three assists, and Jose Morales added a goal and an assist as the Cowboys rolled by the Eagles.

Juan Romero, Jose Gutierrez, Cesar Mendoza, Miguel Mendoza, Oscar Godoy and Leo Gutierrez scored for Chaparral, which also benefitted from an own goal.

Hunter Dale, Monte Morris and Corey Bailey scored for Boulder City.

Foothill 13, Basic 3 — At Basic, Michael Carnahan and Parker Erickson each scored three goals as the Falcons routed the Wolves.

Luca Buehring added two goals, and Curt Richter, Becca Nyonyintono, George Meyer, Dylan Verrastro and Devan Henriott each scored once for Foothill.

Topias Pennanen scored three goals for Basic.
