GIRLS SOCCER: Orellana, Roadrunners rally to tie Desert Pines

Katy Orellana scored the tying goal with 20 minutes left in the match Wednesday to help Tech's girls soccer team rally from a 2-0 deficit to earn a 2-2 tie with Desert Pines at Heritage Park.

Kanene Mossiah also scored for the Roadrunners.

Brenda Andrade and Yadira Zavala-Hernandez scored for the Jaguars.

Bishop Gorman 3, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Gorman, Hannah Borgel scored two goals as the Gaels used two second half goals to pull away from a 1-1 halftime tie with the Mustangs.

Gianna Gourley had a goal and an assist for Gorman, which got two assists from Kevyn Hillegas.

Stephanie Nava and Taylore Simmons each scored for Shadow Ridge.

Sunrise Mountain 1, Chaparral 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Brisa Pena-Martinez scored a second-half goal to help the Miners earn a tie with the Cowboys.

Neshaune Franklin scored in the first half for Chaparral.

Moapa Valley 2, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Linnea Jonasson and Alexia Schraft each scored a second-half goal to lift the Pirates by the Dragons.

Jordan Morwood was in goal for the shutout.

Green Valley 4, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Shestan Lynam, Katherine Lazarte, Chloe Kirson and Taylor Paulsen each scored once to help the Gators top the Sundevils.

Alexis Kirson had two assists for Green Valley.

Kiyana Lopez made one save en route to the shutout.

Palo Verde 7, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Macee Barlow and Jadyn Nogues each had two goals to power the Panthers by the Longhorns.

Alexandra Pappa added a goal and an assist, and teammates Alexis Lloyd and Hannah Gunderson also scored for Palo Verde. Peyton Feller added two assists for the Panthers.

Isabella Skrinjaric scored for Legacy.

Foothill 6, Basic 0 — At Basic, Myriah Epino had two goals and two assists, and teammate Katherine Ballou added two goals as the Falcons blanked the Wolves.

Rae Burrell and Hannah Anderson also scored for Foothill, which got three assists from Aqui Williams.

Darrien Sclafani made four saves to earn the shutout.

Virgin Valley 7, Boulder City 0 — At Mesquite, Abbie Barnum had three goals, and Marlene Quirarte added two goals and an assist as the Bulldogs routed the Eagles.

Jazmyn Dominguez and Karla Correa also scored for Virgin Valley.

Spencer Green was in goal for the shutout.

Coronado 10, Rancho 0 — At Coronado, Taylor Kornieck had five goals and an assist, and teammate Hunter Johnson added three goals to lead the Cougars by the Rams.

Carli Young had a goal and three assists, and Gabrielle Casas had a goal and an assist for Coronado.

Katelyn Moxley contributed three assists, and teammate Kylie Westrbook had two assists for the Cougars.
