GIRLS SOCCER: Martinez’s goal gives Rams tie with Eldorado

Iris Martinez scored with about 15 minutes to play Wednesday to allow Rancho’s girls soccer team to earn a 2-2 tie with visiting Eldorado.

Zulma Flores added a goal for the Rams.

Cristal Mendoza and Aracely Mendoza each scored in the first half for the Sundevils.

Boulder City 1, Del Sol 1 — At Boulder City, Lauren Axelson converted a free kick with two minutes left in the match to allow the Eagles to tie the Dragons.

Celeste Ruiz scored for Del Sol.

Virgin Valley 2, Moapa Valley 2 — At Overton, Marlene Quirarte scored a second-half goal to allow the Bulldogs a tie with the Pirates.

Abbie Barnum also scored for Virgin Valley.

Alexis Schraft scored twice in the first half to lead Moapa Valley.

Sunrise Mountain 1, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, the Miners’ Leslie Arellanos and the Jaguars’ Mariyah Espinoza exchanged first-half goals as the teams played to a tie.

Green Valley 3, Foothill 3 — At Foothill, Talia Lopez scored twice to allow the Gators to tie the Falcons.

Isabel Madrid added a goal for Green Valley.

Rae Burrell had a goal and an assist for Foothill. Katherine Ballou and Rachel Neff also scored, and Jillian Vigil had two assists for the Falcons.

Palo Verde 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Palo Verde, Macee Barlow had two goals to power the Panthers by the Mustangs.

Mackenzie Nogues also scored for Palo Verde.

Jordan Goyeau had four saves to earn the shutout.

Legacy 9, Durango 1 — At Legacy, Nadia Hernandez had four goals and two assists, and teammate Jenna Dumont scored two goals to power the Longhorns past the Trailblazers.

Kyleigh Lambright-Cool and Brittani Snook each supplied a goal and an assist for Legacy, which got a goal from Aujaneh Jackson and three assists from Emma Singleton.

Alyssa Nunez scored for Durango.

Tech 9, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Melissa Lopez scored four goals as the Roadrunners routed the Cowboys.

Abrana Wielgosiak added two goals and four assists, and Estephania Perez, Adriana Guzman and Veronica Gonzalez also scored for Tech.

Lisette Sanchez and Perez combined on the shutout.

Coronado 11, Basic 0 — At Coronado, Michaela Morris had three goals and two assists, and Ashley Thomas added three goals and an assist as the Cougars blanked the Wolves.

Olivia Meza had two goals and an assist, and Trinity Rhoades had a goal and an assist for Coronado, which also got goals from Chynna Zurflueh and Courtney Graham.

Rachel Morris recorded the shutout for Coronado.
