VOLLEYBALL: Bonds, Bulldogs outlast Bengals

Tiana Bonds had 20 kills and 10 digs Tuesday to help Centennial’s girls volleyball team outlast host Bonanza, 25-20, 17-25, 26-24, 22-25, 15-7.

Cristina Owens had 10 kills and three blocks, and Kristi Farley supplied 36 assists and four aces for the Bulldogs, who got 14 digs from Madison Harper.

Haliley Huntsman had 27 assists and four aces, and Sammie Spelman contributed seven kills, three aces and 24 digs for the Bengals. Sophie Cram had 12 kills and six blocks, and teammate Claire Goodsell added 34 digs for Bonanza.

Pahrump Valley 3, Clark 1 — At Clark, Payton Hart had five blocks to help the Trojans rally for a 13-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-19 victory over the Chargers.

Bryana Soliwoda helped Pahrump with 11 assists, and teammate Shayla Dance added seven blocks.

June Roberts and Emi Atanoa each had 12 kills to lead Clark. Angel Jamerson had 28 assists, and teammate Victoria Gordon supplied seven kills for the Chargers.

Cheyenne 3, Western 1 — At Western, Ebony Cavaco had 14 assists and 10 aces to help the Desert Shields to a 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 25-15 win over the Warriors.

Bria Buchanan contributed nine kills, and Erin McNally added 12 digs for Cheyenne.

Western’s Destiny Gonzalez had nine kills, two aces and three blocks, and Paea Sovou had nine assists and three aces for Western, which got three kills and three blocks from Tenaya Williams.

Las Vegas 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Charlai Francis had 11 kills, and Matti Ventling added 27 assists and four aces to lead the Wildcats to a 25-17, 25-22, 25-22 victory over the Vikings.

Shaleea Butler had eight kills, 12 digs and four aces, and L’Tiah Davis supplied seven kills for Las Vegas.

Gabby Cabanero had nine kills and 11 digs, and Taylor Sandhu added 17 assists and four digs for Valley, which got two kills, four aces and four digs from Chantelle Rigby.

Bishop Gorman 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Gorman, Emma Filosi had 20 assists and five aces to help the Gaels to a 25-7, 25-6, 25-10 win over the Spartans.

Victoria Ewalefo had six kills and two blocks for Gorman, and teammates Gianna Ruggeroli and Vashti Cunningham each added seven kills.

Makenna Sherwood had 10 assists and four aces, and Victoria Harris had two kills and four aces for the Gaels.

Zaquae Downton led Cimarron with three digs and two kills.

Faith Lutheran 3, Mojave 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Megan Kronschnabel had 16 assists, and Morgan Hill supplied eight kills and four aces to help lead the Crusaders to a 25-6, 25-13, 25-7 sweep over the Rattlers.

Megan Panikkar had 13 assists, and Cayla Nikodemus added six kills for Faith Lutheran.

Green Valley 3, Rancho 0 — At Green Valley, Nikki Drost contributed 10 kills, eight aces and seven digs, and Shanna Olsen had 12 kills and two aces as the Gators rolled to a 25-10, 25-17, 25-15 win over the Rams.

Alley Seidler had 19 assists and four digs, and Carlee Becker distributed 11 assists for Green Valley.

Kayla Coles led Rancho with 10 kills and five digs. Monet Wilson had 11 assists and four digs, and Danielle Carino added five kills and five digs for the Rams.

Silverado 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Mackenzie Carter had nine digs, six aces and four kills to help the Skyhawks sweep the Pioneers, 25-8, 25-16, 25-10.

Melanie Srok had eight digs, seven aces and six kills, and Amari Norris added four kills and four blocks for Silverado, which got seven digs from Quinntana Reid.

Canyon Springs’ Sydney Morris had three kills, and Tea Rivera added four assists for the Pioneers.

Legacy 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Legacy, Emily Valerio had 16 assists, eight digs, and seven aces to lead the Longhorns to a 25-19, 25-17, 25-15 sweep of the Diamondbacks.

Ashly Goor supplied eight kills and eight digs, and Reina Martin added four kills and four aces for Legacy.

Calvary Chapel 3, Agassi Prep 0 — At Agassi Prep, Brooke Davis had 17 assists, three kills and three aces to lead the Lions past the Stars, 25-5, 25-13, 25-6.

Deja Harris (five kills, four aces, two blocks), Alexis Harris (four aces, three kills), Jamie Mejia (three kills) and Allison Brown (seven digs, seven aces) also contributed for Calvary Chapel.

Lincoln County 2-2, Lake Mead 0-1 — At Panaca, Kaitlin Cheeney had 13 assists in the opener and 11 assists and three aces in the nightcap as the Lynx won 25-21, 25-23 and 25-19, 24-26, 15-9.

Chelsea Lloyd had seven kills, and Kayla Mathews and Kaylee Teel each added six kills for Lincoln County in the first match.

Teel had 13 kills and nine digs, and Mathews supplied nine kills in the nightcap. Chesnee Harding added 13 assists in the second match for the Lynx.

Shannon Regan had four kills and two digs in the opener and seven kills in the nightcap to pace the Eagles. Rachael Watkins added eight assists and 15 digs in the first match and 10 assists, four digs and three kills in the finale for Lake Mead.
