Hall powers Mustangs to sweep of Laughlin

Alex Hall had nine kills, eight digs, two blocks and two aces in the opening match and nine kills, four digs and three aces in the finale Tuesday as The Meadows’ girls volleyball team swept visiting Laughlin, 25-9, 25-14 and 25-13, 25-11.

Nikki Lenardson had six blocks, five kills and two aces, and Divya Ramakrishnan dished out 10 assists for the Mustangs in the first match. Lena Schulhofer served seven aces, and Victoria Onufrieff had eight digs for The Meadows, which got four kills from Amber Peterson.

In the nightcap, Schulhofer had six assists and four aces, and Lenardson supplied four kills, two blocks and two aces for the Mustangs. Katie Magness added six digs, and Ramakrishnan had five assists for The Meadows.
