ROUNDUP: Del Sol rolls to win in California baseball tournament

Del Sol’s baseball team jumped to a 13-run lead after three innings Monday on the way to a 13-2 win over Escondido Charger (Calif.) in the Lions Tournament in Claremont, Calif.
David Day was 2-for-2 with a home run and five RBIs for the Dragons.
Scottez Dobbins went 3-for-3, and Dan Doph doubled twice for Del Sol, which had a 15-4 edge in hits.
Yucaipa (Calif.) 8, Green Valley 4 — At San Diego, the Gators allowed six runs in the top of the fourth inning during a loss at the Lions Tournament.
Green Valley’s Tyler Blair was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Kyle Larimer and Chad Whiteaker each went 2-for-4 for the Gators.
Rancho Bernardo (Calif.) 14, Silverado 2 — At San Diego, the Skyhawks allowed 11 runs in the top of the fifth inning during a five-inning loss to the Broncos at the Lions Tournament.
Braden Keathley was 2-for-2 with a triple, a double and an RBI for Silverado.
Tech 16, Desert Pines JV 0 — At Chaparral, Justin Vasquez threw a no-hitter as the Roadrunners downed the Jaguars in the Cowboy Classic.
