ROUNDUP: Arbor View tops Centennial in baseball

Buddy Borden tossed a three-hitter and struck out six to help Arbor View’s baseball team to a 9-3 home win over Centennial on Thursday.
Arbor View and Centennial are tied for fourth place in the Northwest League 4-2 at the midway point of the league season.
Chris Manning went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs for the Aggies, who erased a 3-2 deficit with a four-run third inning.
Sean Reilly was 3-for-4 for Arbor View, and teammates Marquis Towers and Zach Hartman each went 2-for-4 with a double.
Mojave 9, Cheyenne 6 — At Cheyenne, Adrian Terrazzas hit a three-run double to highlight a five-run seventh as the Rattlers rallied to defeat the Desert Shields.
Mojave trailed 5-4 entering the seventh.
Western 13, Clark 6 — At Western, Courtney Woods was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs to lead the Warriors past the Chargers.
Gerardo Vidal was 4-for-4 with two runs and Matt Guzman 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for Western.
Travis Pullen and Miguel Gonzales each had three hits for Clark.
Green Valley 8, Silverado 3 — At Silverado, two Green Valley runners scored on an error to cap a four-run fifth inning as the Gators defeated the Skyhawks.
The Gators trailed 3-1 entering the fifth.
Tyler Blair and Bobby Shiroky each went 2-for-4 with a double for Green Valley.
Coronado 5, Basic 4 — At Coronado, Taylor Giordano’s walk-off single drove in Steven Pollex in the bottom of the seventh to give the Cougars a win over the Wolves.
Coronado’s Joe Desjardens opened the inning with a single and reached home on Pollex’s double.
Giordano picked up the win after taking the mound in the sixth inning.
Cimarron-Memorial 15, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Cimarron, Dyllon Neurnberg went 3-for-4 with five RBIs, including a three-run double in a six-run first inning, as the Spartans routed the Mustangs.
Kris Kaplan went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Cimarron.
Kody Gorden tossed a three-hitter, striking out five and facing only two more than the minimum number of batters in five innings.
Jordan Blaylock hit a solo home run in the third inning for Shadow Ridge.
Foothill 7, Del Sol 2 — At Foothill, Jake Ferdinand tossed a five-hitter and struck out five as the Falcons downed the Dragons.
Jordan Mathis was 4-for-4 with three RBIs for Foothill. Gabby Soto was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and teammate Dylan Ellis was 2-for-4 for the Falcons.
Liberty 10, Tech 7 — At Liberty, Kyle Rynearson was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs as the Patriots built a 10-3 lead and held off the Roadrunners.
Seth Wieman was 3-for-3 with three runs, and Carlos Padilla 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Liberty.
Tech’s Travis James was 4-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs. Sam Rodriguez was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and teammate Jimmy
Talamantez was 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and two RBIs for the Roadrunners.
Bishop Gorman 27, Highland (Utah) 1 — At Rivera Park, the Gaels scored 20 runs in the third inning to dominate Highland in the Gorman Easter Classic.
R.J. Santigate was 5-for-5 with three doubles, four RBIs and four runs.
Over the last five games, Santigate is 15-for-15.
Johnny Field went 4-for-4- with four RBIs and two runs for Gorman.
Wooster 13, Las Vegas 3 — At Las Vegas, the Colts scored in every inning except the second en route to the win.
Victor Mendoza went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs for Wooster.
