ROUNDUP: Trio each scores twice in Bonanza boys win

John Milne, Frazier Berman and Alex Iorlano each scored two goals Saturday to help Bonanza’s boys soccer team down visiting Desert Oasis, 8-0.

Kyle Ross and Chad Smith added a goal apiece for the Bengals, who led 6-0 at halftime.

Jessie Madrid made nine saves to earn the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 2, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, goals by John Vaccaro and Shane Thompson lifted Bishop Gorman past the Mountain Lions.

Fuzzy Orellana assisted on both goals.

Jake O’Rourke made five saves to earn the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 3, Western 2 — At Western, Pahrump Valley scored the only goal of the second half to break a 2-2 tie and edge the Warriors.

Felipe Medina scored both Western goals.

White Pine 7, Lake Mead 0 — At Ely, Colton Stones had three goals and two assists as the Bobcats blanked the Eagles.

Johnny Holloway added two goals and four assists, and Nathan Hughes and Aaron Trujillo each scored once for White Pine. Goalkeeper Ryan Costello was credited with the shutout.

GIRLS

Faith Lutheran 8, White Pine 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Sydney Spoon scored two goals and had two assists as the Crusaders routed White Pine.

Hannah Stevens, Kari Moloney and Sasha Bancura scored two goals apiece for Faith Lutheran.

Marissa Fehrman and Maddy Courvoisier each played a half in goal for the Crusaders.
