New Mexico continues baseball mastery over Rebels

Chris DeVito had a home run, two doubles and four RBIs to lead New Mexico to a 10-5 win over UNLV in a Mountain West baseball game Saturday in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jack Zoellner had a home run, a double and three RBIs, and Jared Holley had two doubles and two RBIs for the Lobos (19-8, 9-2), who won their fourth straight game and clinched their fourth straight Mountain West series victory.

New Mexico starter Tyler Stevens (4-2) held the Rebels (9-17, 3-8) to one earned run on eight hits and two walks in six innings.

Nick Ames went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI for UNLV, which held a 12-10 edge in hits but left 10 runners on base.

Kyle Isbel, A.J. VanMeetren and Cooper Esmay had two hits each for the Rebels, who have lost nine of their past 10 games and 11 straight to the Lobos in Albuquerque.
