Bad night in Big Bear for star of Vegas ‘Pawn Stars’

Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison of the hit TV show "Pawn Stars" went to Big Bear and wound up in a bit of trouble Sunday.

Harrison, 27, the grandson in the popular History Channel show, which features the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop downtown, was arrested after authorities said he pushed a San Bernardino County, Calif., sheriff's deputy and a security guard in an altercation between Harrison and another man.

San Bernardino sheriff's spokeswoman Arden Wiltshire said Harrison was arrested on misdemeanor obstruction and a "minor battery" charge. He was released with a citation.

Harrison and the unidentified man at the Big Bear Lake Bar were in a heated argument when the deputy happened by and was asked to intervene, Wiltshire said.

"We didn't know who he was until TMZ called," she said. TMZ reports on lives of celebrities.

Harrison and his father and grandfather star on the popular show with Austin "Chumlee" Russell, Corey Harrison's childhood friend, according to the pawnshop's website, which boasts Corey Harrison "not only has the brains to spot a cheat but the brawn to back it up."

Phone calls to the pawnshop seeking comment were not returned.
