2016 CT6 gains big-time attention at Findlay Cadillac

The world of Cadillac continues to headline the automotive industry with the introduction of the first-ever CT6, a 2016 model that combines advanced technology with breathtaking design.

The CT6 was part of the 11th annual Cadillac Through the Years car show April 10 at The District at Green Valley Ranch.

Mixed with some of the most beautiful classic Cadillacs in the world, the CT6 drew its own level of attention.

“The CT6 is Cadillac’s all-new luxury vehicle,” said Findlay Cadillac sales consultant Mike Waldman, a 20-year veteran of the car business. “For the money, the CT6 is the best buy on the market in the luxury segment.”

Cadillac has three different power plants for the CTS, including the base model four-cylinder 265-horsepower 2.0 turbo; a six-cylinder 3.6 liter with 335 horsepower; and a 3.0 six-cylinder twin-turbo with 404 horsepower.

Each model comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Fuel mileage ratings range from 22 city to 31 highway.

Cadillac touts its newest entry into the market by highlighting an “Agile” category with a new fusion frame design, one of the industry’s most advanced body structures, an aluminum-intensive architecture composed of 11 different materials built with unique manufacturing processes.

Under what Cadillac refers to as its “Connected” category of electronics, the CT6 boasts some incredible new features. The CUE system comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen and touchpad featuring capacitive-touch and handwriting-recognition capabilities that function similar to an iPad or Android tablet.

Among the multiple advanced features available is Enhanced Night Vision that utilizes infrared technology to notify drivers of large animals or people that may be hard to see at night. Surround Vision provides a 360 degree bird’s-eye view of your vehicle. It’s great for parking in tight spaces and can be activated by the driver at any time.

Surround Vision Recorder is a great new security measure that records footage from the car anytime the alarm is activated. Also available are 4GLTE Wi-Fi and Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

The “Indulgent” category is centered in the interior of the CT6 with authentic materials and detailing that includes Cadillac’s signature cut-and-sewn interiors. Then there is the availability of the Bose Panaray Sound System with 34 speakers strategically positioned throughout, including the floors, seats and door panels.

The category also highlights an available Quadzone climate control system, along with five massage settings plus an available Ultra View Panoramic power sunroof spanning front and rear seats.

“Cadillac hasn’t left anything out of the CTS,” said Waldman. “For good reason, we have many customers that are interested in the CT6.”

Situated at 993 Auto Show Drive in the Valley Automall, Findlay Cadillac is led by General Manager John Saksa, who holds the same position with Findlay Fiat at 210 Gibson Road.
