2016 Optima generates big interest at Findlay Kia

The highly regarded 2016 Kia Optima has arrived at Findlay Kia and has quickly generated big interest.

The Optima has been a popular vehicle for several years, and the latest version is no exception. Boasting a sleek fusion of bold style and performance, the 2016 Optima midsize sedan appeals to all ages.

In fact, the 2016 model generated interest and enthusiasm long before it arrived at the dealership at 5325 W. Sahara Ave.

Known as the “next generation Optima,” the 2016 model has a long list of amenities and improvements.

The safety package includes a rear-camera display, surround-view monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist system, blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, lane-change warning System, advanced smart cruise control and premium electronic stability control.

In addition, the Optima features forward collision warning system, autonomous emergency braking and dynamic bending light with bi-xenon HID headlights with available headlights that are auto-leveling.

Additionally, available UVO eServices Info-tainment System provides voice-recognized technology that allows hands-free use of a phone.

The Optima’s performance package also is drawing high praise. It includes a 2.4-liter gasoline direct-injection engine with available turbocharged 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter GDI engines.

The Optima’s handling package includes four-wheel suspension, front MacPherson struts and a rear multilink design for a smooth ride and precise handling.

Yet another interesting addition to the 2016 Optima is the optional feature Qi Wireless Charger which charges the cell phone on the vehicle console.

The Optima comes with the 10-year, 100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty; the five-year, 60,000-mile limited basic warranty; and the five-year, 60,000-mile road-side assistance.

Priced from $21,840, the 2016 Optima has fuel mileage ratings of 25 city and 37 highway.

Findlay Kia sales consultant C.J. Minge, a 17-year veteran of the car business, said the Optima is the top-selling model for Kia worldwide.

“For its class, it’s the best value,” Minge said. “Major publications such as Kelly Blue Book, Motor Trend and JD Power all rate it the best in the business for a midsize. The enthusiasm for the 2016 Optima actually started last summer, and it is continuing.”
