Findlay Kia execs named to Top 100 Men of the Year

A pair of Findlay Kia executives have been named to the 2016 Top 100 Men of the Year by MyVegas magazine.

Earning the award were dealership General Manager Byron Klemaske and Business Development Manager Mark Olson.

“When I heard that I had been nominated for the award, I really didn’t give it much thought,” said Klemaske, a 45-year-old, 20-year employee with Findlay Automotive Group. “It’s a very prestigious honor and includes men from various occupations including lawyers, doctors and casino executives, to name a few.

“It’s annual recognition of the city’s most respected men and I’m ecstatic to be included this year.”

Olson, a four-year employee with Findlay Automotive Group, was equally surprised by his being named to the prestigious list. He was previously named among the top automobile dealership employees under the age of 40 in North America by Automotive News, a respected publication headquartered in Detroit.

“This is a tremendous honor,” Olson said of being included in the Top 100 Men of the Year. “The list of nominees for this award are made up of the who’s who of Southern Nevada’s top male businessmen and I’m truly honored to be included.”

MyVegas magazine polled over 100,000 of its readers to find Las Vegas’ Top 100 Men of the Year.

Findlay Automotive Group Chief Financial Officer Tyler Corder lauded both Findlay Kia executives.

“Both Byron and Mark have been very involved in the local community with various charities,” Corder said. “We’re proud of their efforts to make Las Vegas a better place and we’re proud that they represent the Findlay Automotive Group. They are great role models and we’re thrilled that they are being recognized by MyVegas magazine.”

Findlay Kia is part of Findlay Automotive Group founded in 1961 by the late Pete Findlay, whose son, Cliff, now spearheads 28 dealerships in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oregon and Idaho.
