Findlay Chevrolet’s Vehicle Exchange Program works well for many customers
Automobile owners facing big challenges are the beneficiaries of a special program utilized by Findlay Chevrolet.
The Vehicle Exchange Program benefits the customer, according to department manager Jeff Lamper, a 22-year employee with Findlay Automotive Group.
“For instance, if a customer has a vehicle that is in need of expensive repairs, it’s oftentimes better to simply trade in the older vehicle for a newer one,” Lamper said. “In many cases, when a vehicle starts needing repairs, it’s simply the signal of more repairs to come in the near future.”
The benefit, Lamper said, is based on the fact that the customer receives an above-market value for the older vehicle. In addition, the newer vehicle has low monthly payments because of better finance terms available through the program.
“Then, too, with the newer vehicle, the customer enjoys a reduced cost of driving, reduced maintenance and repair cost,” Lamper said. “In addition, the newer vehicle comes with increased safety and security technology and the comfort and peace of mind in being covered by a complete factory warranty.”
A 1975 graduate of Boulder City High School, Lamper added when you factor in the increased fuel mileage available with the newer vehicles, it’s a win-win — and the customer no longer has to worry about the ramifications of owning an older vehicle.”
Still another key factor includes many people whose vehicles no longer fits their lifestyle, i.e., the birth of twins or even a new job.
“We have seen so many people who have traded in their vehicles because of changes in family,” Lamper said. “Once a family grows beyond the seating capacity of their current vehicle, there’s a big need for a Chevrolet such as Traverse, a Tahoe or a Suburban.”
Also, customers of the program are vehicle owners who are in the midst of an early lease termination.
Lamper also pointed out that the program enables Findlay Chevrolet to bolster its pre-owned vehicle selection.
“Findlay Chevrolet is always looking for good pre-owned vehicles,” Lamper said. “We can boost our fleet of pre-owned vehicles through the Vehicle Exchange Program, especially when the automobile has been kept in good shape by our service department.
