Planet Hyundai Sahara welcomes 2016 Santa Fe
The 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe now available at Planet Hyundai Sahara with four models to meet the needs of families on the go.
The Santa Fe Sport is equipped with a 190-horsepower 2.4-liter gasoline direct engine, a six-speed Shiftronic automatic transmission, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio, phones and cruise control. Its popular equipment package is highlighted by a power driver seat with four-way lumbar support.
Additional standard features include vehicle stability management system, electronic stability and traction control systems and daytime running lights.
The Sport’s Premium package has a long list of features, including proximity key entry with push-button start; electroluminescent gauge cluster with color LCD trip computer; second row sliding 60/40 seats with cargo area releases; blind spot detection system; rear cross-traffic alert; lane change assist; and driver’s blind spot mirror.
The Santa Fe Sport 2.0 features a 265-horsepower, 2.0-liter gasoline direct injection twin-scroll turbo four cylinder engine with Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing, chrome-tipped dual exhaust system, trailer prep package and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The Santa Fe SE is powered by a 290-horsepower 3.3-liter gasoline direct injection V-6 engine with variable valve timing and a six-speed Shiftronic automatic transmission.
The Premium Package of the SE is highlighted by the proximity key entry with push-button start; dual-zone automatic temperature control with clean air ionizer, power front passenger seat, second row cargo area releases, manual rear side window sunshades, blind spot detection System, rear cross-traffic alert, lane change assist, driver’s blind spot mirror, among other features.
The Santa Fe Limited rounds out the available models. The Limited is also powered by a 290-horsepower 3.3 gasoline direct injection VS engine.
Key standard features in the Limited include a panoramic sunroof, navigation system with 8-inch touchscreen, Dimension Premium auto system with 10 speakers, integrated memory system, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, rear parking sensors, 115-volt power outlet and the “Ultimate” lift gate badging.
The models come with five-, six- or seven-passenger seating.
Safety features are highlighted by seven airbags along with numerous driving assist technologies.
U.S. News & World Report rates the Sante Fe as the best three-row SUV for the money.
The Santa Fe features the 10-year powertrain warranty along with the five-year, 60,000 New Vehicle Limited Warranty, the seven-year, unlimited miles anti-perforation warranty and the five-year, unlimited miles roadside assistance warranty.
According to Bob Higdon, delivery manager for the dealership, the Santa Fe is highly rated with little competition in its vehicle class.
“Hyundai again hit a home run with the 2016 Santa Fe,” said Higdon, a 28-year veteran of the car business. “Last year’s model was very popular and this one will be even more popular.”
