Retirees capitalize on 2019 Santa Fe from Hyundai of Las Vegas
Retired Santa Barbara Police Department Capt. Jeree Johnson and his wife, Margaret, have purchased five vehicles from Hyundai of Las Vegas sales consultant and fleet manager Ronnie Youn since 2001.
The latest purchase, a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, has everything the couple could need, from room in the back for Jeree’s golf clubs to having plenty of space for the couple’s grandchildren.
When the couple decided to move to Las Vegas in November 2001, they also made the decision to buy a new home and a new vehicle, so purchasing the new Hyundai Santa Fe came right in line with the buying spree.
“We just felt that it was time to buy everything new, so our first purchase from Ron (Youn) at Hyundai of Las Vegas was a natural,” Jeree Johnson said. “We really like the relationship that we have with Hyundai of Las Vegas.
“Whenever we come into the dealership, everyone greets us and welcomes us to the dealership, which has a really refreshing environment.”
The Johnsons bought their first Hyundai, a smaller Tucson, while living in California and have remained dedicated customers ever since.
“The Hyundai Santa Fe is a good-looking vehicle,” Johnson said.
Youn said the Santa Fe is the perfect purchase for customers who want a smooth-riding vehicle that handles well, gets fuel mileage of 24 city and 29 highway and is very quiet.
“We were attracted to the Santa Fe because it has a great warranty and a great value,” Johnson said. “We will be taking trips in the vehicle to California to see our grandchildren.”
Youn said the Santa Fe gets better the longer a customer has the vehicle.
“Once the Santa Fe has been broken in, it will get even better gas mileage,” he said. “It’s a multifaceted vehicle that has absolutely taken off in popularity. The Johnsons are one of my best customers.”
Dealership manager Ernie Leon said the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe has been big hit ever since it arrived.
“It’s a one-of-a-kind, and we feel that it’s one of the best sport utility vehicles in the country,” Leon said. “We’re very proud of the ’19 Santa Fe, especially considering how quickly it has been selling.”
