Business Press introducing new poll format
A new opinion poll is available at the Las Vegas Business Press’ Web site, www.lvbusinesspress.com.
Unlike the previous Business Press Web poll, the new Business Press/Review-Journal allows readers to vote as well as comment on the poll topic.
Results and select comments are to be published weekly in the Business Press.
The poll is designed to increase interactivity between Business Press editors and readers, particularly the 70,000 or more monthly viewers who get their information about the local business community from the Web site.
The new polls ask readers to choose a yes or no response or to respond with no opinion based on the question.
The comment section gives readers a better outlet to discuss that week’s topic.
The Business Press and Review-Journal Business section look forward to hearing from local business people about their views on topics affecting them.
This week’s question is:
“Several states have passed or are considering laws that will require most businesses to let workers who are ill or injured miss work without docking their pay or threatening their employment.
“Businesses argue such a mandate could force many companies out of business.
“Do you support requiring businesses to offer all employees some paid sick days?”
