Bingo returns to Binion’s in new room on casino floor

Binion's has brought back bingo, opening a new room in the middle of its casino floor on Tuesday.

The casino dropped bingo an unspecified number of years ago but decided to bring it back since few other downtown properties offered it, spokeswoman Lisa Robinson said. Binion's will run six sessions a day with 13 games per session.

Robinson said the move is part of a strategy by owner TLC Casino Enterprises to put games and programs in place to add incremental revenues. Managers at Binion's see bingo as a way to tap more into the locals market, she said.
