Caudill-owned enterprise buys assets of closed slot company

A company owned by Binion’s and Four Queens operator Terry Caudill has bought the assets of a closed slot machine company that provides games to Indian casinos.

Caudill is the owner of Next Gaming, which announced Friday it acquired the Las Vegas assets of slot machine manufacturer Atlantic City (AC) Coin and Slot Service Co.

AC Coin closed in January. Next Gaming acquired the lease for AC Coin’s North Las Vegas manufacturing facility, and the company plans to rehire former employees displaced when the company closed.

The purchase will allow Next Gaming to produce the AC Coin’s games that are used by casinos in Indian gaming markets.

Caudill bought Binion’s in 2008 and the Four Queens in 2003. He also founded the Magoo’s, Loose Caboose and Chicago Brewing Co. restaurants in Las Vegas.

Next Gaming is licensed as a gaming equipment manufacturer and distributor in Nevada and California. The company has applications pending in other tribal gaming markets.
