These Strip properties still offer free parking

If there’s one thing locals wish they could demand out of Strip casinos, it’d be free parking.

But self-parking garage policies have changed dramatically over the years, and fewer resorts offer complimentary parking for everyone nowadays. Look no further than The Venetian and The Palazzo, whose management implemented a paid parking policy in August 2023, likely due to the opening of the Sphere.

Also remember that a parking fee could be added when there are special events or other high-volume periods.

Here’s a breakdown of the free and free-ish parking garages still available on the Strip as of December 2024:

Free parking

  • Sahara Las Vegas
  • Treasure Island
  • Circus Circus
  • Trump International Hotel Las Vegas (only valet available)
  • Fashion Show Mall
  • The Shops at Crystals (only valet available)

Free* parking

Yes, that’s an asterisk. While the options of complimentary self-parking are limited, several other properties on the Strip offer free parking to locals for a set number of hours or on certain days. And many resorts offer free self-parking for loyalty program members of a designated level.

  • Caesars Entertainment properties (Horseshoe, Caesars Palace, Paris, The Linq, Flamingo and the Cromwell resorts) offer the first three hours free for locals with a valid Nevada driver’s license.
  • MGM Resorts International properties (Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Park MGM, New York-New York, Luxor and Excalibur resorts), offer the first three hours free for locals with a valid Nevada driver’s license.
  • The Strat offers complimentary parking for locals with valid Nevada ID.
  • The Venetian and The Palazzo now charge for self-parking. Nevada residents receive three hours free with a valid Nevada driver’s license.
  • Encore and Wynn Las Vegas now charge for self-parking after four hours for all visitors.
  • Fontainebleau offers the first four hours free for all visitors.
  • Resorts World offers free parking for up to three hours. Some rewards members have more free parking options.

Note: This story previously incorrectly listed Planet Hollywood under Caesars Entertainment’s parking policy. The property’s garage is managed by Miracle Mile Shops and offers one hour of free parking to all visitors. The story also has been updated as resorts change parking policies.
