Columbia Sussex division renamed

Columbia Sussex Corp., the Fort Mitchell, Ky., company operating the Tropicana on the Strip, changed the name of its casino-operating division to Tropicana Casinos and Resorts.

The unit had been doing business as Columbia Entertainment.

To accompany the name change, Columbia Sussex said it will change the name of its Ramada Express in Laughlin to Tropicana Express.

Business Loan Express, a lender to small businesses, named Amy Judge business development officer.

Base Entertainment named Phil Reynolds vice president and general manager of its Las Vegas production.

Classic Cigar Art, a seller of framed original cigar label artwork, opened at 10161 Park Run Drive, Suite 150.

United Staffing Associates, a Pismo Beach, Calif.-based staffing agency, opened an office at 4775 Durango Drive, Suite 103.

SportClips, a hair salon, opened a shop at 7225 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104.

Tonic and Tonic II Salon launched www.tonicsalonlv.com, a Web site featuring information about its products and services.
