Convention authority chief Ralenkotter gets 8 percent raise
Rossi Ralenkotter’s annual raise was approved Tuesday by the board of directors for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
At their Tuesday meeting, the board unanimously approved salary increases for Ralenkotter, president and CEO, and Luke Puschnig, general counsel. The raises take effect July 1, which starts fiscal year 2014.
Ralenkotter will receive an 8 percent raise in pay, with a 40 percent pay-for-performance incentive. His annual base salary now stands at $276,825, and the increase will bring that up to $298,971. With the incentive, Ralenkotter’s annual salary could top out at $418,559.
“There was a lot of haggling, but I think we’re closer to getting Rossi what he’s worth,” said Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins and board chairman.
In 2012, Ralenkotter received a 4 percent pay raise and a 30 percent pay-for-performance bonus.
For his annual raise, Puschnig will receive a 6 percent increase, with a 25 percent pay-for-performance bonus. His annual base salary is $143,268, so the increase will draw that up to $151,864. The incentive could bring that amount up to $189,830.
In 2012, Puschnig received a 4 percent pay raise and a 20 percent pay-for-performance bonus.
