Naming rights for LED sign on Strip up for sale

Another Las Vegas entity wants to sell naming rights, and this time it’s for an LED screen.

Branded Cities Network, which owns the 60-foot-tall sign at Harmon Corner, wants to sell rights to put an entity’s name atop the sign that measures 306 feet across.

“We have had some initial interest form a number of very iconic and very powerful brands,” said Dave Groff, head of sponsorships for Branded Cities.

In addition to the sign, the package includes naming rights for the adjacent 110,000-square-foot, three-story Harmon Corner Retail Corner. Both the sign and building are at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue at 3717 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Branded Cities is seeking a multi-year, multi-million dollar agreement, but Groff said the actual figure could range dramatically, as the company is offering additional branding opportunities for the right offer. Add-ons could include showroom space in the center or advertising time on the sign.

While the sign will carry the name of an official sponsor, Branded Cities will continue to sell advertising on the screen.

“It’s a seven-figure opportunity, annualized,” Groff said.
