Machete attack
A 49-year-old North Las Vegas man said Tuesday he wants to plead guilty for attacking his ex-girlfriend with a machete last month.
Authorities said Armando Vergara-Martinez attacked Maria Del Carmen Gomez, 53, with an 18-inch blade outside a convenience store at Craig Road and North Fifth Street late March 21.
