Pedestrian hit by vehicle in southwest valley
A man walking outside of a crosswalk was struck by a vehicle and injured in the southwest valley Thursday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.
Lt. Chris Jones said the man, who was not identified, was crossing to the north side of Flamingo Road outside of a marked crosswalk just west of Jones Boulevard, when a vehicle struck him.
The man was struck about 3:30 p.m. Jones did not know the man’s condition.
