Police probe homicide in southwest valley
An apparent homicide claimed the life of a male victim Sunday morning near Desert Inn Road and Valley View Boulevard.
The identity of the deceased was not released.
Las Vegas police initially called the death suspicious. Homicide Lt. Lew Roberts said Sunday night that the death was the result of blunt-force trauma.
Police did not release additional details about the death on the 4200 block of West Sirius Avenue late Sunday.
