(Las Vegas Review-Journal)

A man was fatally shot Saturday night in the west valley, marking the third homicide of the day investigated by Las Vegas police.

Officers were called at 9:50 p.m. to the 6600 block of West Charleston Boulevard, near South Rainbow Boulevard, according to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Jesse Roybal. They found a man in the parking lot with a gunshot wound, according to a Sunday news release. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he died, police said.

Police did not have a motive or suspect as of Sunday afternoon.

On Saturday morning, homicide detectives were investigating an argument that left one man fatally shot and a body found inside a home near central Las Vegas.

Anyone with information about the cases is asked to call Metro’s homicide section at 702-828-3521 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
