The man who was fatally stabbed Sunday outside a southwest Las Vegas Valley McDonald’s has been identified.

Clinton Englehart, 27, died of a stab wound to the chest, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the Clark County coroner’s office.

The stabbing occurred just before 8 p.m. at 8635 W. Spring Mountain Road, near Durango Drive, Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.

Englehart was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Suspects fled the scene, and two people later were detained at nearby Desert Breeze Park, but it is not clear whether those detained are suspects in the stabbing.
