Las Vegas police arrest man in connection with May lewdness case

Police have arrested a man in connection with a May lewdness case.

Alejandro Soria-Bautista was arrested after he voluntarily met with detectives from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s sexual assault section on Friday, Metro spokesman Jesse Roybal said. Police didn’t say what was discussed in the meeting.

Soria-Bautista was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center, where he faces one charge of lewdness with a child younger than 14, police said.

Soria-Bautista appeared in court Wednesday and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 30, court documents show.
