5 wounded, 2 critical after central Las Vegas shooting
Five people shot in the central Las Vegas Valley early Sunday are expected to survive, police said Monday.
Las Vegas police received reports of gunshots in the area of H Street and Wilson Avenue just before 5 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Jesse Roybal said.
Arriving officers found multiple shell casings and blood, Roybal said.
It’s unclear what led to the shooting. Police on Monday described it as an incident between “persons who were affiliated with motorcycle clubs.”
Three victims were found near Las Vegas Boulevard and Bonanza Road, he said. Two were dropped off at University Medical Center. At least two shot were in critical condition Sunday.
Police said Monday that no arrests had been made.
