Las Vegas man hospitalized after preteen son stabs him to protect mother
A northwest valley man was hospitalized Monday night after police said his preteen son stabbed him in the back.
The man was initially arguing with his wife before he began choking her in their home in the 8100 block of White Mill Court, near Racel Street and Cimarron Road, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon said.
At that point, the preteen son intervened, stabbing his father in the back “to protect his mother” about 9 p.m.
“The husband is considered the suspect,” Gordon said, adding that his wounds were nonlife-threatening.
