Springs Preserve hosts Holiday Spectacular

The annual Holiday Spectacular, a family-friendly winter wonderland, continues from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday through Dec. 23 at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd.

Bathed in the glow of thousands of colorful, eco-friendly LED lights, the celebration features tasty treats, holiday arts and crafts, train and reindeer (pony) rides for the little ones, photos with Santa and, for the first time, an ice-skating rink.

The Springs Cafe will offer a special selection of dishes, including three-alarm chili, lobster mac & cheese and a full kids menu, as well as desserts and seasonal beverages.

Live entertainment includes nightly performances by high school madrigal singers. In addition, the Springs Amphitheater will be the venue for holiday music by a variety of local artists, including Kid Fiddlers, Rag Time Entertainment, Beth Mullaney, The Rock Group and more.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 12. Children under 5 are admitted free. Military members and their families receive discounted admission of $6 for adults and $3 for each child aged 5 to 12.
