Children’s musical program at Jewish Community Center
Hadassah Aviva Interest Group is inviting the public to attend a children’s musical program supported by the Foundation to Assist Young Musicians.
The concert will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Jewish Community Center, 9001 Hillpointe Road, on the grounds of Temple Sinai.
The foundation was created by Harold Weller, the founding music director and conductor laureate of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Its mission is to encourage and assist young musicians, specifically those who are in need of financial support and mentoring.
Hadassah Aviva is a local chapter of an international organization that supports Hadassah Hospital in Israel.
