Charleston Blvd., is test-marketing a new Caprese Burger, dry-aged Hereford beef with melted buffalo mozzarella, pesto aioli, balsamic glaze, mixed greens and sliced tomatoes on a ciabatta bun. With fries or a side salad it’s $11.95 and will be available through Monday (March 9) — or longer if it catches on. …
The Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour will be at the Sam’s Club at 2650 E. Craig Road on Saturday (May 7) for a regional competition. The day’s events, which run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will include sampling and demos with barbecue expert Troy Black from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free to the public. …
