Koi at Planet Hollywood, 3667 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from first-week sales of two new menu items to the American Red Cross for Japanese earthquake and tsunami efforts, and 50 percent of sales for the rest of the month. The items are the Rising Sun Roll ($18), a California roll wrapped in soy paper, topped with seared tuna and tempura flakes and drizzled with eel-avocado cream sauce, and the Koi Fusion Shot, sake infused with pineapple, watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe. The items will be available through April 22, and at Koi’s Los Angeles and New York locations as well. …
