Guy Roark, I hope you have an ice-cold RC Cola handy, because your fellow readers have found Moon Pies at sources that aren’t as far south as Bass Pro Shops.
David McConnell found Moon Pies in bulk boxes at the Costco Business Center at 222 S. Martin Luther King Blvd., Mike Henderson said he found them a few months back at Smart & Final at 4439 W. Charleston Blvd. and Nina Hall found both regular and snack size — and sometimes chocolate, vanilla and strawberry — at the commissary at Nellis Air Force Base, for those who have commissary privileges. …

And as for the Knorr pork bouillon cubes that Jeanne Fermon is seeking, it appears they’ve been discontinued — whether completely or just for U.S. markets is unclear — but as Sue Bigsby noted they’re still listed as available at www.PacificEastWest.com (or call 303-295-0293), and Henry David Kim of Anchorage, Alaska, said they’re readily available at an Asian market there and suggests trying similar stores in Las Vegas. But you may want to act fast. …
