Lovers of Fluff help find the stuff
Fluffernutter sandwiches are an acquired taste, I’d say, but it’s one that has been acquired by a whole lot of people. And readers have sources for one of its principal ingredients — Marshmallow Fluff — for Marlene M. Taylor.
Howard Pratschler of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Christine Johnson found it at Glazier’s Food Marketplace, 8525 W. Warm Springs Road. However, Pratschler said he saves by ordering it in case lots from www.Marshmallow Fluff.com (781-593-8007), which he notes has flavors such as strawberry and raspberry.
Judith Draper reported finding it at Cost Plus World Market at 3890 Blue Diamond Road . And Phoebe Dinsmore noted that Kraft Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme is available at Walmart at 4505 W. Charleston Blvd. (and I’ve seen it at Smith’s). …
For Gerald Seegmiller, Draper and Caitie Smith recommended the Bundaberg Ginger Beer at Cost Plus, and Shari Simonds emailed that the same brand also is available at the International Marketplace, 5000 S. Decatur Blvd., and that the milder-tasting brands can be found at British Foods at 3375 S. Decatur Blvd., Rocket Fizz at 5130 S. Fort Apache Road and at Indian grocers. …
For Claudette Dorian, Stan Stanton said Blue Bunny huckleberry ice cream is available at Sam’s Ice Cream & Coffee House, 3760 E. Desert Inn Road. …
