The 12th annual M.E.N.U.S. fundraiser for the Epicurean Charitable Foundation — which stands for Mentoring and Educating Nevada’s Upcoming Students — begins at 6 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Luxor, 3900 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The event, which will begin with a cocktail reception, will include samplings and spirits from more than 30 local restaurants, plus a performance by Jabbawockeez, a DJ and a silent auction. “Nobu United — A Culinary Celebration” will unite chef Nobu Matsuhisa and 28 of his chefs from across the country at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace Restaurant and Lounge, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
