To celebrate Mardi Gras, Emeril Lagasse’s Las Vegas restaurants — Table 10 at the Palazzo, Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian and Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at the MGM Grand — will offer New Orleans-style snacks and classic Big Easy cocktails such as the Sazerac and Hurricane from 3 to 7 p.m. today through Tuesday. …
In other Mardi Gras news, free beignets and Champagne will be served at noon and 8 p.m. Tuesday near the Race & Sports Book at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave. The hotel-casino also will offer jambalaya, a cup of gumbo or house salad and a slice of Key lime pie for $12.99 in its Courtyard Cafe; items including jambalaya, red beans and rice, dirty rice, beignets, muffalettas and King Cake in the Fresh Market Buffet for $8.99 at lunch and $13.99 at dinner; and a jazz and Dixie band from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Bourbon Street Lounge. …
To commemorate Presidents’ Day Monday, Joe’s Stone Crab in The Forum Shops at Caesars, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is offering specials themed to their portraits. So a pound of medium stone crabs is a Jackson ($20), sides such as Jennie’s Mashed Potatoes and Joe’s Grilled Tomatoes and Mac and Cheese are a Lincoln ($5) and a piece of Joe’s Key lime pie is a Washington ($1) — valid for dine-in only. …
This sure is a holiday-filled week; at least two local restaurants are celebrating National Margarita Day on Wednesday. Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor, 3900 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will offer two-for-one house margaritas from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. And Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at the Flamingo, 3555 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will offer a 22 percent discount on margarita-related merchandise. Also, anyone celebrating a 2/22 birthday will get a $22.20 gift certificate to use during their visit, and anyone with a 2/22/22 birth date will get free food and beverages all day. …
