Entertain us with stories of your summer calamities
If you’ve ever hosted any kind of summer celebration, you’ve been there.
Maybe yellow jackets swarmed your poolside-barbecue guests. Maybe a slightly inebriated luau attendee had a muumuu malfunction while attempting the limbo, mon.
Whatever it was, it probably seemed like a disaster at the time but is pretty funny in retrospect, and it’s exactly what we’re looking for. We’re asking readers to send us their summer-entertaining disaster stories, for publication in the newspaper and online later this summer.
Send your stories — with your name, age, city and a daytime phone number — to Summer Disasters, Las Vegas Review-Journal, P.O. Box 70, Las Vegas, NV 89125. Or email them to hrinella@reviewjournal.com (with "Summer Disasters" in the subject line) or fax them to 383-4676. The deadline is 5 p.m. June 24.
