Bronx Wanderers still dreaming
People from the Bronx are happy to share that fact with you, but the borough is more a musical attitude with the Bronx Wanderers.
The band making its return to the South Point today is solidly rooted in the school of Dion (DiMucci), but includes a surf medley and a cover of the Beach Boys’ “In My Room” on its album “Not Afraid to Dream.”
“First and foremost, I approach each song as a producer,” band leader Vinny Adinolfi explained last year. The authentic sound comes from reconstructing “the way they made those records, when a lot of guys just get up and sing.”
