I still have trouble believing that this is a thing that actually exists, even with this new video evidence. But in the series, debuting at 10 p.m. Feb. 27 on WE tv, couples will have sex in a soundproof, camera-free box, then emerge to talk about their experiences in front of a studio audience.
In other words, it’s tamer than it sounds.
At least until the arrival of the inevitable rival knockoff show, “Intercourse Cube.”
According to the press release: “Post-coitus, a scientifically proven time when people are more trusting and open due to the body’s natural release of oxytocin (“cuddle hormone”), the couples have a shockingly raw discussion with the experts about their experiences and relationships in an effort to solve their problems. … Amazingly honest, provocative and yes, dare we say it, educational, “Sex Box,” may just be the start of the next sexual revolution in the United States.”
