Summerlin offers 19 new neighborhoods

Summerlin, a master-planned community spanning the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley, is offering more than 90 floor plans in 19 new neighborhoods by nine homebuilders.

Danielle Bisterfeldt, vice president of marketing for Summerlin, said home styles range from luxury townhomes to single- and two-story homes.

“Summerlin has long been recognized for its quality of life created by thoughtful design and an abundance of amenities unmatched by any other community in the valley,” Bisterfeldt said. “Thanks to our partnership with the valley’s premier homebuilders and desirable land for new neighborhoods, Summerlin continues to expand its product offerings to homebuyers.

Each neighborhood offers views of the valley, Red Rock Canyon and the Spring Mountains. Architectural options include casitas, rooftop decks and fully stocked multigenerational suites.

In the heart of Summerlin is Downtown Summerlin, the 106-acre shopping, dining and entertainment destination open to community members and shoppers valleywide. The center, open since October 2014, hosts more than 95 brands including Dillard’s, Macy’s, Apple, Nordstrom Rack, Lululemon, Sephora, H&M and opening soon, Crate &Barrel. Thirty-five dining options include Andiron Steak &Sea, Fogo de Chao, Wolfgang Puck Bar &Grill, California Pizza Kitchen, Grape Street Café &Wine Bar, Shake Shack and Lazy Dog. Entertainment options include family activities, an upscale five-screen Regal Cinemas and opening this summer, Dave &Buster’s.

“The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin continues to unveil exciting new additions in the community that set it apart from all others in the valley,” Bisterfeldt said. “We offer not just 150-plus miles of beautifully designed trails, we also host a number of activities that help residents get to know each other, explore their community and help them feel at home.”

Summerlin has expanded its amenities with a fourth community center and third community pool with water slide and children’s lagoon. The community center is at one of Summerlin’s largest parks, The Vistas, which includes football and softball fields, tennis and basketball courts and a children’s play area. The community’s more than 19 regional parks offer activity fields, splash pads and picnic pavilions.

New residents can participate in plentiful activities hosted by the Summerlin Council. Annual residents-only activities like Snow Day, Friday Nite Live summer concert series, Strawberry Festival and Hometown Holidays are some of the more than one dozen activities organized for community residents.

New-home prices in Summerlin range from the high $200,000s to more than $2.5 million. For more information about Summerlin visit Summerlin.com or download the new-home-finding app by searching Summerlin in your app store.
