WestCorp opens two luxury apartment communities

WestCorp Management Group is ramping up to begin leasing at its newest southwest Las Vegas Valley projects, SW and Union.

Both properties offer one-, two- and three-bedroom options with quartz countertops and gray kitchen cabinets, according to Emily McCann, vice president of marketing and education.

“We love the southwest locations of these properties,” she said. “They’re convenient locations to the freeways, the Strip and nearby grocery stores and restaurants.”

According to McCann, SW, which is at 6355 S. Durango Drive, boasts 310 units while Union at 4450 S. Hualapai Way has 338. SW monthly rent ranges from $999 to $1,570; a Union apartment costs from $1,040 to $1,580 per month.

While both are outfitted with a media lounge, fitness center and Starbucks coffee, Union features a park with a splash pad and SW offers a pet park and wash.

“We haven’t started fitness classes there yet but as soon as we have enough residents, we’ll offer kettlebell and yoga classes to start off with,” she said of Union. “Our media lounges will also have sofas that line the room so they’re more of a community setting and a place where our residents can go watch movies or a game.”

WestCorp also has started construction on two other properties, 2One5, in the southwest at Buffalo Drive and the 215 Beltway, and Evolve at St. Rose Parkway and Spencer Street on the Henderson border.

“We’re hoping to start leasing at the beginning of the summer,” McCann said.

She added that Evolve will be more modern architecturally than WestCorp’s other properties and will have a two-story clubhouse with a game room, gaming consuls, demonstration kitchen, fitness center, fitness rooms for classes, saunas and a steam room.

“We’re more focused on adding amenities because the clubhouse will be double the size than we typically offer,” she said. “We first look at location, what services are around and then decide what amenities we can provide.”

McCann said WestCorp is focused on providing its residents with the most convenient locations.

“We like to look at locations that have a lot of services around them,” she said. “The southwest and Henderson seemed to be good locations for our renters because that’s where they want to be.”
