Ahoy, Mate
Akris has long been known as a fashion house that designs clothes for the chic woman. Clients such as Diane Sawyer turn to designer Albert Kriemler for fashionable clothes that don’t scream trendy. Last Monday, the spring collection made its debut at Saks Fifth Avenue, where shoppers could get up close and personal with Kriemler’s sailing-inspired line. Striped blouses paired with high waists and full legs, along with tailored jackets and two-piece dresses stitched from strips of leather resembling decking brought his maritime vision to life. A sophisticated approach to the spring wardrobe, indeed.
