Fashion Fling: Enjoy a fashionable Friday evening at the “Fashion Fling: Magic & Mystery,” a second annual night of stylish socializing to kick off and benefit the upcoming AFAN AIDS Walk from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight at Beauty Bar. The evening will showcase a Friday the 13th carnival atmosphere and entertainment, and a fashion show produced by Globe Salon. Models will strut the runway wearing styles from Betsey Johnson and vintage store The Attic. A $25 tax-deductible donation gets guests complimentary beverages, cocktails, food and a raffle ticket. There will also be an after party at the Downtown Cocktail Room. Guests can donate for more raffle tickets to win prizes and gift certificates donated by “Bite,” The Charcoal Room, Downtown Cocktail Room, Globe Salon, Mind-Body Connection Massage, PaperDoll Boutique and more. Trunk Shows: Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show mall is bringing in a number of designers who will show their latest lines. Today, you can see the latest intimate apparel from Hanro, Juicy’s newest line of children’s apparel, new gifts from Kosta Boda and the latest furs from Restyling. Shoppers also have a chance to meet men’s designer Robert Graham at 5 p.m. and jewelry designer Rosalina from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Saturday, Cartier will present its latest collection of men’s accessories, Piazza Sempione will show its designer sportswear and Konstantino will show its new jewelry collection, all from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Send Me An Angel: Victoria’s Secret Angels Heidi Klum and Karolina Kurkova will be signing autographs from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Victoria’s Secret store in the Forum Shops at Caesars. They will unveil the 2007 Victoria’s Secret “What Is Sexy List” for the year’s hottest people and places. Last year’s “What is Sexy” list winners included: sexiest male actor, Patrick Dempsey; sexiest female actress, Halle Berry; sexiest male athlete, Tom Brady; sexiest female athlete, Maria Sharapova; sexiest female musician, Shakira; sexiest male musician, Adam Levine of Maroon 5; sexiest international city, St. Tropez; and sexiest U.S. city, Los Angeles.
Local Talent: Women’s fashions created by fashion design students from the International Academy of Design and Technology Las Vegas will hit the runway in the Great Hall at Fashion Show mall Thursday at 6 p.m. The fashions will include evening wear, sportswear and professional attire.
Donate for Prom: Las Vegas residents will have an opportunity to donate gently used prom and homecoming dresses to Las Vegas Prom Closet, a local organization dedicated to making high school prom a reality for students who wish to attend, but can not afford the expense of a dress and accompanying accessories. Donated dresses and accessories are being accepted for Las Vegas Prom Closet at Jessica McClintock at Fashion Show mall through April 22. Jessica McClintock will give all dress donors a 15 percent discount on a new dress when they donate a gently used gown to Las Vegas Prom Closet.
