Las Vegas Valley Bicycle Club: A 6:15 a.m. moderate to fast 15-20 mile, leader in front/leader sweeps, road ride is scheduled for Wednesday through Desert Shores, Sun City and Summerlin. Get Outdoors Nevada: Register now to volunteer for Earth Day-Habitat Restoration on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until noon at the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. Work site is on a steep slope, decompacting the soil in preparation of revegetation. Also, more than 150 volunteers are needed Saturday at 7:30 a.m., to participate in several conservation/restoration projects at Red Rock Canyon.
