MUSIC

The Las Vegas Master Singers and UNLV Jazz Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway. The concert is free, but a freewill donation will be accepted (454-8484).

All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Washington Ave., will present a Choral Evensong with the All Saints’ Choir followed by a short organ recital by Bede Parry at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 1. The program is free (878-2373).

EVENTS

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., is having a holiday bazaar and bake sale 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. today (732-2052).

Women of the Vine of Mountain View Presbyterian Church will have a fall bazaar featuring jewelry, original art, ornaments, baked goods, drawings and more, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. today at 8601 Del Webb Blvd. (341-7800).

Author Mitch Albom will discuss his novel “Have a Little Faith: A True Story” and host a reception at 7 p.m. Sunday at Temple Beth Sholom, 10700 Havenwood Lane. A VIP meet-and-greet will be at 6 p.m. Reserved seating is $54 for Jewish Community Center and Temple Beth Sholom members and $60 for nonmembers. General admission is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. Access to the VIP meet-and-greet, an autographed book and premier seating is available for a $100 donation. For tickets, call 794-0090.

First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd., will have a fall festival featuring dinner, pumpkin carving, a chili cook-off, game booths and children’s activities, 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Dinner tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door. Pumpkin-carving tools will be provided for those who bring a pumpkin to carve. To compete in the cook-off, call the church at 384-4554.

St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2575 W. El Campo Grande Ave., North Las Vegas, will have “A Celebration of Fall” festival featuring music, entertainment, games, prizes and an international food fair 3-9 p.m. Friday (657-0200).

First Henderson United Methodist Church, 609 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson, is having a Nevada Day celebration 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 31. The event will feature a chili cook-off, craft fair, variety show, food, bounce houses, carnival rides and games. Christ Lutheran Church, 1401 Fifth St., Boulder City, will have its annual holiday bazaar featuring Christmas crafts, quilts, seasonal decorations and a bake sale, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 6-7 (293-4332).

CLASSES
